Gamesville Games Unavailable

Topic: Technical Difficulties

Gamesville is experiencing technical difficulties, and has been intermittently for several hours. Problems range from being unable to save avatar changes to not being able to play games at all.

We've heard from a number of frustrated people. Please understand, we share your frustrations: Every minute you can't play is another minute our business is failing to entertain you (which violates one of our core missions as a business) and is another minute we're not generating the revenue we should be.

Our engineers continue to work overtime to restore normal operations, and I hope to have good news to report shortly.

went to gamesville to play Tuesday morning,  I checked my GV points and it shows I have no GV points.   What happen?   I just changed to a new icon  the phone with 5 or 6 million gv's.   I worked so hard to get these gv's, can't believe I will have to start over again!

When the problem is fixed, will I get my gv's back?

Time to practice patience, nothing comes without a little glitch every now and then. Gamesville is a reputable site and I am sure once they are up and running again, in due time ,will be able to tell us more. If we lost anything it might be restored after they get the site back up. I am going to use this time to get some of the chores done  that alot of us have neglected because we enjoy gamesville so much,  (lol). So, lets give them a break like we wish we could get every now and then. Believe me when I say I miss my gamesville and dear friends, but when it's fixed I will be able to play my games and my house will be clean so I can enjoy myself without the guilt of knowing i need to get some things done. So lets not panic, at least not yet. LOL.

Whewwwwww I am glad it is not just me  I was really worried when I could not play...then I noticed I had no gv points. Aghhhh all that time for nothing. Hopefully, it will all be restored soon!

I logged into gamesville I had just short of 30 million lifetime gvs. when i ckd gvs said i had zero. Please give me my gvs back. It took me years to accumulate those. HELP

LUCKILY I FOUND TALK WITH GAMESVILLE TO EXPLAIN WHAT'S HAPPENING IN GAMESVILLE.  WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM THEY SHOULD PUT THIS THIS COLUMN WHERE EVERYONE WILL SEE IT! THEN ALL OUR GAMESVILLE FRIENDS WILL KNOW THAT THE PROBLEM IS BEING WORKED ON.

The site is not displaying GV Rewards correctly, but it's my understanding your GV Rewards totals have not been lost; they will be restored once the database is up and running correctly.

(Essentially, if you see anything wrong right now, it all ties back to this database problem, which hopefully is resolved shortly.)

What happened last night though? The acknowledgment that there was a problem was posted at about 5:15am EDT, but the site went down at at 8 or 9pm last night PST. I emailed, sent in a tech support ticket...as far as I can tell, judging by the time GV posted, no one at GV even knew there was a problem until the site had been down for 5 hours. So what time did anyone at GV discover there was a problem? If we're frustrated, it's mostly because we've learned, again, that GV has poor communications skills. -Pat

thought it was kind of funny..son came over and was wroking on pc when he left i went to GV and everything was gone called him up and yelled at him.. he said MOM go to be it will be back in the morning!! So i did and it was..Thanks GV
