Distinguishing Personality Traits:

Juneau (the cat!) says, "Hi, my name is Juneau. I was named after the capital of Alaska because it was my parents' favorite vacation. I will be three years old on June 1st. I was living with my friends and sleeping on the floor in a warehouse when this lady was walked in looking for a kitten. I was happy she picked me!  We got into a car and left. Before Mom could say anything - swoosh! - I came flying out of the box. Dad was startled; he thought I was a rat!  We've been a family ever since.

 
I am playful, very silly and as smart as a dog, but I have pointed ears and meow. I've learned to sit and stand when my mom says, 'Juneau sit, up.'  And when mom throws my toy mice, I run after it and carry it back to her in my mouth. I did that 20 times one day and I was pooped. I hide in my play tunnel and when people walk by, I pop out, grab their ankles, run back in my tunnel and hide so they can't find me. That's my tunnel in the picture. I also play Hide and Seek. Mom hides and I run room to room till I find her. Sometimes I don't even bother looking for her. Ain't I a stinker?!"
