GV: What have you been up to since we last spoke?
MR: I'm 5'11! (laughs)

Well, what have you been doing?
Well, I'm retired now.  My wife passed away, and awhile later I married a woman from China. I ride my scooter around and try to save gas. 

I have a magician’s meeting tomorrow.  I do close up and table magic.  Coins, little card things, spongeballs that look like they disappear.

What do you like better – magic tricks or the slinky?
I prefer magic tricks, the slinky is more of a nervous habit.  I have 5 dozen of them.  I took the bus one day last week, and I gave one to a little boy.  I run out because I give so many away.

Are they all the same kind or do you buy different varieties?
All the same kinds, mostly silver.

What kind of scooter do you ride?
It looks like an old Vespa; it goes about 60 miles per hour.

Where do you ride?
I drive mostly around town.  I drove 15 miles to my sister’s in the farmland. Mind if I ask you a question now?
