That's nice, but with the verizon ad, you aren't given the option to lower the quality to low or anything. Even hitting the "next ad" button doesn't help - my game locks and I just have to wait.

I do not have anyway to change the ads and ALL ads with motion slow up or freeze my games! The "next" button won't change the ad running. It is very frustrating and the games are loosing their enjoyment for me. I understand the need for the ads, but they shouldn't interfer with the game play.

Game lags when the ad "Are you a good flirt" runs. This occurs several times a game.

I was on the top for three different games and because your ads staled me out couldn't place ihn anything. This is not the first time this has happened. Please do something about your ads. I have a blocker but doesn't seem to work here. Thank you Susan

On the subject of slowness (having nothing to do with Ads), what in the world is going on in Quick Draw Poker? The game has been excruciatingly slow and erratic for days on end. It used to be a very smooth, fast-playing game. It slowed down last summer and never got back up to full speed. For the past few weeks it's been disgraceful. It's not my net connection. It's the game. I'm extremely disappointed.

This is my second post about this issue. Since my first post things have gotten much worse! My games keep freezing up on ads that move and now when the ads change it freezes in between the ad change and remains that way until the game is over. I can not play or change the ad. This is not a fun way to play the games and evidently Gamesville does not care if the players can play because nothing seems to be getting done on fixing the matter. By complaining it seems to make it worse, but I'm taking my chances again.

I tried to utilize the "tips" given to adjust the flash settings on the ads that bog my computer down. Right clicking on the ad does not bring up the option to uncheck "play and loop" or "click rewind" or "set the quality to low". Also, doing a print screen of the ad and sending it is too complicated as i do not have an IT degree. The main offender is the Live Strong ad.

Based on the many many many complaints that Gamesville has received regarding the ads bogging down the games, I am left with the impression that they just simply don't care. What a shame. I had not played Gamesville in awhile, and this just reminds me of why I prefer Shockwave and Pogo.

I was just kicked out of my game...again! Based on the many, many, many complaints Gamesville has received regarding this issue, I have gotten their message loud and clear that they simply do not care. Giving us an outlet to vent our frustrations does not solve the problem. When a player goes to another gaming site because of continued frustrations, then running the ads becomes a detriment to Gamesville, not an asset. What is the good in running an ad if nobody is here to see it. Furthermore, I definitely will NOT click on an ad and give any revenue to a company that interferes with my game. So, in the end, the ad does just the opposite of what it is supposed to do. I play online games for recreation and relaxation and I intensely dislike the companies that interfere in this process.

I absolutely love playing spite & malice on this site but today I had problems with the ads. Internet Explorer kept blocking an ad that was trying to download some files to my computer. I cannot tell you which ad it was because the ad was completely blocked. This happened repeatedly and the place where the ads normally are, flashed each time it was blocked. This also changed the size of my screen making it very difficult to see the chat bar. I know we need the ads to pay for the site, but please don't let these advertisers delve into our computers. Thank you for checking into this matter. Betblake

My biggest complaint is with those new DROP DOWN ads... some don't have a "close" option, or the close tab is barely visible or takes several seconds to show up. The ads themselves almost completely cover the game screen. I've been on the verge of winning many times and when I attempt to close the ad, I've clicked it on instead, and my game is erased. Please take action to eliminate these during regular play! They are a major frustration and don't follow your policy of "uninterrupted games".

Your Botox ad is freezing the games. This a.m. I was 3 numbers away from bingo with 10 still to be called. I tryed to fix but your solutions didn't work as you have to unclick loop EVERY time the ad shows up. Can't you just pull it?

One or two more days and I am out of here - for ever. My games (Spider solitaire and Hot streak solitaire) are frozen more than they are playing now - have really enjoyed them in the past but each day it gets worse - clicking change ad does not help and neither do any of the other suggestions - been patient long enough waiting for a fix - time to move on.

I agree with dreamingo. I have been playing games at Gamesville for many years now. I have posted several times about the problem with the ads and I'm now fed up! It doesn't seem that Gamesville really cares. In fact, the problem has gotten even worse. So, it's been fun until the past few months and now I'm moving on. I _might_ check back in several months to see if anything has changed, but I doubt it will.
